Curriculum at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center
The children learned all about the Earth. They planted flowers and watched them grow. They went on a nature walk and gathered items from the Earth to create art.
In Ms. Caitlin and Ms. Shelby’s 3/4’s class, children explored lemons through tasting, painting, and stamping. They also made lemonade as part of this sensory learning activity.
The PreK-A and PreK-B classes made volcanoes and "lava monsters" during Volcano Week. Ms. Kaneka designed a fun, hands-on activity that sparked curiosity and excitement.
Shuttle #3 was launched to support the growing needs of the Launchpad Program. It helped accommodate more young learners as the program expanded with great success.
During Dr. Seuss Week, the infant classroom explored the colorful world of storytelling. The vibrant visuals and rhymes helped introduce books at an early age.
In the 3/4's classroom, children learned spelling, explored shapes, and stayed active with yoga and dancing. It was a joyful day of creativity and movement!
